About Us
Forsah Shababyia (A chance for youth) NGO is a dedicated organization for sports support in Iraq and MENA Region for various sports and athletes .
The NGO was founded in 2022 , so we are a relatively young NGO . The founders have years of experience in Sports in the Middle East and a recent Project at Shatila Refugee Camp in Lebanon that was a significant success in terms of providing Self-Defense workshops , highlighting the children and youth struggle in having a safe space to play and practice any activity , plus financial aid support and donations of sports gear , part of the donations will go towards schools in the camp .
Our Mission is to provide aid and support to athletes in In Iraq by creating Community Sustained Sport Projects . We aim to deliver connubial spaces with types of equipment dedicated to particular supports to develop a healthy , active environment for children in rural areas in Iraq . Part of our work scope is to provide workshops and aid to Refugee Camps all around the MENA region to help individuals use sports as an outlet and aim for them to build a passion towards a dream that we can support in the future .
Our main goal is to prepare Iraqi Athletes for the Olympics by 2028 by fully supporting their journey and facilitating the path towards the Olympics . We want to encourage more athletic achievements in Iraq and put Iraq back on the map with International Recognition and support !

Our Mission could be summarized in few sentences .
Our foremost and most important mission is to support and help Iraqi's youth potential and love for sport through nurturing and providing all facilities needed to excel .
Part of our overall Mission , is creating and sustaining health communities all over Iraq with Global Ambitions of creating a safe , happy environment and allowing future athletes to explore their potential .
Ou third mission and this one is close to our hearts specially , is Women Empowerment . Middle East and a war torn country does not add up to the best place for women to explore their full potential and can be quite limiting , and that's where we would like to come in and revolutionize women opportunities in Sport in Iraq !!
Our Vision
Our most ambitious Vision is to bring back home a Gold Medal in the 2028 Olympics , which means we are currently in full speed mood when it comes to scouting and assessing possible athletes and candidates on the span of few sports . Very ambitious but never Impossible !!
Our other visions and goals are ensuring Kids have a safe access to sports and play areas all over Iraq's provinces to nurture future athletics potentials while allowing them to enjoy childhood with a healthy outlet .
Our ultimate vision is bring back Iraq's glory and achieve new records to put the countries name back on the world map and prove that after all we are strong, resilient and capable of anything if we believe so
